You may have passed by our little church building on Durham Road and wondered what on earth the Church of the Nazarene is and why does it exist here in Cramlington. A commonly asked question is “What type of church are you”? Firstly, we are part of the church of Jesus Christ which has been around for centuries, and we work under the name of the Church of the Nazarene which is part of the worldwide church of Christ.

We welcome you all to The Cramlington Nazarene Church, we form part of the global Church of the Nazarene. As a church, we have a strong desire to close the gap between the community and the church. We are so excited about this new phase in our church life, where we are able to demonstrate God’s amazing love to those who live in our community. We believe as a church we are called to serve our local community with the love and passion of Christ.
We believe everyone counts no matter where you are in life or where life has taken you. We are all part of this Cramlington community, and if one suffers we all suffer. As a community, when we care and love each other we will all flourish and benefit from being part of that community. Our desire is to see this Cramlington community transformed by introducing people to the love of Christ, by journeying through life together, by learning and seeking together and ultimately discover our purpose, our unique place in God’s plan.
At the Cramlington church, you will always receive a warm welcome and a place where you are loved for who you are no matter what you are going through. You don’t have to have it all together to attend our church, no one is perfect. We know Jesus loves you and welcomes you, and so do we.
